Project Pan Empties - April

Hello lovelies!
Well it's that time again! Project Pan empties. There is really not that many this month, and most of them are hand creams.  I am really trying to get through them all, I have soo many!

First up is Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy in Rosewater. I got this for free with purchase of some magazine, I cant remember which one though.  This scent on this is soo strong. It's just overpowering. I cannot even use it if my husband is home, as it actually starts to bring on his seasonal allergies. I am not a rose fan anyway, so I would definitely not buy this.

Next is Essence Snow Jam 24h Hand Protection Balm.  Another one I didn't buy, I won the whole Snow Jam collection and this was one of the items.  I quite like this cream!  It has shea butter and coconut oil in, and while it is heavy, it doesn't leave a yucky feel on my hands. Would definitely buy it, but sadly I don't think it's available in Australia.

Last hand item is Lucas PaPaw Ointment.  I cannot stand this! I bought to use on my cuticles, and honestly I could of just bought a tub of Vaseline, it feels the exact same.  I ended up leaving it next to my bed and popping it on my cuticles before I went to sleep.  Definitely would not buy it again.

Very last is my Original Source Shea Butter and Honey Shower gel. I honestly think I have had an Original Source shower gel in every one of my Project Pan posts lol  This is not my favourite of theirs that I have tried, I think the shea butter makes it feel like it doesn't rinse off properly.  Still an awesome gel for the price though!

Till next time!

Latest Project Pan empties

Hello lovelies!
Welcome to my very small Project Pan post. I keep forgetting to keep my empties, hence the tiny post lol

First is the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Energizing Bath and Shower Gel.
Hubby bought this for me for Christmas, it came in a pack with some perfume and body cream.  Its a nice body wash, but nothing special. if i saw it again in the pack I would buy, but only because I love the perfume that comes with it. Would not buy it buy itself.

Next is one of the Original Source Shower gels, in lime.  I can't smell much of a scent on this one.
I love the Original Source shower gels though, and would rebuy this, and any of the Original Source shower gels.

Last is the Cellilux Glacial Mineral Gel. I loooove this mask!  I got this sample in one of my BellaBoxes, and just had it sitting around, till I saw Kitsch Snitch's review on it, and remembered I had it and dug it out. Its amazing. My skin felt so soft after I used it. It is not cheap though, $69 from the BellaBox website. I will definitely be buying the full size though, once I save my pennies!

Till next time!

Project Pan and other updates

Hello lovelies!
Hope you all had an awesome Christmas and New Years!  Ours was nice and relaxing.. for Christmas we went away for 2 nights to the Mannum Caravan Park with our family.  We had cabins right on the river, so was so nice to wake up and go sit outside with a coffee and just look at the water. For new years we did our usual, which is nothing! lol   Sat home, had a few drinks, watched movies, and asleep way before midnight. Ah, such party animals. ;)

I have to share these photos with you all.. Jan 4 was my birthday, and these are the pressies from my awesome hubby and son!

Handmade card from my son.

Canon G15 camera!

Plus the awesomest cake ever.. chocolate and surrounded by nail polish! I was certainly spoilt. :)

Ok, on with the post! I am still doing my Project Pan, and have managed to finish off 4 things so far, 2 shower gels, a hand cream and face wash.

Garnier Light face wash:
I picked this up in The Reject Shop for $2, and was surprised at how good it was.  I have problems with a lot of face washes irritating my skin and leaving it red, but this was nice and gentle. It didn't seem to do a lot for my appearance of my skin, but sadly not alot does.

Original Source Lemon & Tea Tree shower gel:
I am a huge fan of the Original Source shower gels. There is quite a few different kinds (I think I have most of them lol), they have a great scent, and rinse off completely, unlike some other shower gels I have tried. i buy mine at Coles. They are about $4, but I wait for half off sales, and then stock up!

The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel:
I will be honest here.. I bought this for the name and bottle. I have a thing for cherry blossoms!  lol I have actually had this for a couple of years. I bought it at an at home party that my cousin had, so I can't remember what I paid for it now. I looked on The Body Shop site but it says this item is no longer available for purchase. They do have the Japanese Cherry Blossom body wash for $20.95.  I was not a huge fan of this, that's probably why  it took me so long to use it. I would definitely not repurchase it.

Natio Hand and Nail cream:
I LOVE this hand cream. It's not greasy at all, and sinks right into your skin, leaving it feeling lovely and smooth.  I recieved this free from Natio after a bungle with one of their nail polishes I bought, but I have seen it in store at chemists and beauty stores for $9.95. Would definitely buy (once all my other hand creams are empty, of course ;)  ).

Till next time.

Project Pan ALL The Things!

Hello lovelies!
I have decided that I am out of control with my lipstick buying.

This is my stash AFTER going through them all and throwing some out.  I just can't seem to stop buying them!  I figured if I am having a lippie clean out I may as well do all my makeup.

This is my eye shadows and eyeliners AFTER a cleanout.

I seem to have a buying problem. ;)

So I have decided to do a Project Pan.. for those who don't know what that is, it's when you stop buying beauty items until you hit pan or use up a certain number of products.  I am going to go with hitting Pan.  Most people make a few rules to go along with it, mine will basically be use up all the items before you buy more. Say I have 10 face cleansers (which is probably a very close guesstimate lol),  I have to wait until i have used all 10 before I buy more, not just use up one.  Simple.. I hope.

So, things I am adding to my Project Pan are... lipstick, eyeshadows (excepting the Urban Decay one that hubby already bought me for Christmas lol), eyeliners, shampoo and conditioners (the shower is full of them), face cleansers, shower gels and hand moisturizers.

As I finish each item I will do a review on it. :)

Wish me luck.. I will need it!

Till next time.
