Go Team Orange!

Hello lovelies!

Today was sports day at my sons school, so of course I had to paint my nails in his team colour, which is unfortunately orange. I am not an orange fan at all!  Luckily I had recently bought Martian Sea from Pretty Serious, which is a dark burnt orange.

Love this colour, just not sure how I feel about it on me.  This is 2 coats.  Accent nail of a Nfu-Oh flakie.

As for sports day.. it wasn't great.   As some of you know, my son has Aspergers, and can be uncoordinated so sports do not come easy for him. We had a slight drama with the high jump, he would run up to it but then stop dead and not jump.  He just doesn't feel comfortable letting his body go like that. So he tried twice but then got quite upset about it.  His teacher was great though, and still gave him a token for trying.  I cried, of course. ;)

So many things been happening over the past few weeks.. as usual I have been forgetting to post!  So no big surprise there..  ;)

Hubby and i had our 10 year wedding anniversary, he bought me a lovely leather double wrap Pandora bracelet!  Yay!

Last week was our sons 8th birthday.. we had a great family dinner at Fasta Pasta (sons favourite restaurant  lol).  He got spoilt rotten, over $200 in birthday money plus a Nintendo 3DS from us.

So much has happened since he was born.. a few house moves, then city moves, and then a move to another country!  He has handled it all so well, very proud of our boy.  :)

Then weekend just gone was my cousins 30th birthday party.  It was a costume party, I went as a 1920's flapper, something I have always wanted to dress up as!  Son went as Batman, and hubby as an American.. lol

Homework

This year my son has had to do homework. He is definitely not happy about it, but once he gets started he really concentrates. So cute.  :-)

First day...

Back at school! Can't believe my little Bugalug is in 2nd grade already! Feels like only yesterday he was falling asleep in my arms and keeping us up all night. ;)

Went and met his new teacher last week and checked out the new classroom, so he was quite comfortable this morning when I dropped him off. He also has some of the same classmates as last year which helps a lot. Wish I was as happy.. my baby is growing up way too fast!
