AN Monday & Sea Siren review - part 2

Hello lovelies!
I have two manis to share with you again today, both using Sea Siren Cosmetics nail polishes.

The first is my mani for Aussie nails Monday. The theme was flowers.

For this look I used Sea Siren Cosmetics Pink Champagne on my pinkie and pointer finger, and Sea Nymph on the middle two fingers.  For such pale colours they applied quite well.  Not at all streaky and I only needed two coats.
Then I just used a dotting tool with Tranquility (purple) and Leucosia (white) to make the flowers.  I love this style of mani, it's simple to do but looks so pretty.

The next polishes I have to show are Mojito Madness and Leucosia.

I will admit, I do not wear white nail polish. It takes me back to my high school days of painting my nails with Liquid Paper lol  Plus they all seem to be so gluggy and streaky.  But Leucosia is none of those things! It's perfect in two coats. I used sticky tape to tape off the tips of my nails for a 'french' nail look. Sadly, they are not too straight.  ;)

Again, I love all these polishes! I still have a few more to show you, I can't wait to try them.
Sea Siren polishes can be purchased here, and be sure to check her out on Facebook and Instagram as well!

Till next time!

AN Monday - Australian

Hello lovelies!
First off, I just have to say hi and welcome to all my new Facebook likers.  I am loving how the nail art community has come together this weekend and gone on a huge #sharethelove campaign.  I have shared a few of my favourite pages on my Facebook page. :)

On to the polish!
I am part of a Facebook group that does a different theme each Monday. I actually left it for a few months as I was having trouble keeping up, but I have rejoined just in time for the Australia theme. Yay!

I used OPI Don't Mess With OPI, Sally Hansen Golden-I, and a Konad plate and stamping polish. So happy with how this turned out, I think I have finally mastered stamping!

Till next time!

Aussie Nails Monday Mani: hearts

Hi all..
I seem to be a few days behind on this post.. lol  Sorry about that.  My son has been home sick all week from school.   He is finally feeling better though thankfully, though of course he has shared his germs with me. Never shares his chocolate, only his colds.  ;)
This weeks Aussie Nails Monday mani had a hearts theme, which is great timing as I just received some heart shaped studs from Born Pretty.  I know most people think red/pink when they think of a loveheart mani, but as you know, I am not a red/pink girl at all, so of course I have gone with blue.  ;)

The base colour is China Glaze Electric Beat, it's new to my collection, and I just love it!  At first I was unsure about it, I thought it may be too much like Secret Peri-Winkle, but its much more beautiful!
I also used a stamping plate from Llawore for my pinkie and middle finger. I am so glad I have persevered with stamping, I am finally making it work.
I was so happy with this mani, and didn't want to take it off. Unfortunately, one of the hearts came off the next day, and I hate to be uneven.    lol
Also, I still haven't found the heart!  O.o

Aussie Nails mani: bling bling (pic heavy)

Bling Bling!  I just love this theme so much!  I was hoping my Born Pretty order would turn up, but no luck. I am still so happy with how this turned out anyway.
Base colour for all nails is  is ChiChis "My Bad' and layered over it is 'Celebrity Meltdown'. My accent nail is Nfu Oh flakie # 43.

I posted a few pics, so you can see how sparkly it is!

The Nfu Oh is not a colour I would of bought myself, but hubby picked it out, cause it's orange.   Go Syracuse!

Oh, and I also won these awesome Pedi-Sox from a giveaway at A Polished Prance.  I love them, they are sooo comfy.

Have you tried Pedi-Sox yet?

Aussie Nails Monday - Flowers

Oops, a bit behind on this post, sorry!  That is what the school holidays do to me lol
This weeks Aussie Nails Monday theme is flowers, and luckily over the weekend I received some awesome fimo flowers thanks to the lovely Bec at Lacquer Dreams
This is the first time I have ever used fimo, and it definitely wont be the last!  They are so cute.

The base colour is You’re A Heartbreaker from Essence 50's Girls Reloaded trend edition (ugh I hate that name!).  It looks quite grey in these photos but is actually more blueish in person.  The red is foils..  it's also the first time I have used foil, and it turned out a bit shredded, but I ended up liking the look.  I then stuck the fimo flowers on with some quick dry top coat.  I was surprised, I was expecting them to come off in the shower the next day but they actually lasted 2 days.  They probably would of stayed on another day or two, but I couldn't resist the urge to pick them any longer.  ;)

I will definitely be using fimo in more of my manis!

Are you a fimo fan?

Don't you step on my Blue Suede Shoes...

I have the most gorgeous polish to show you today!  Blue Suede Shoes from A Girl Obsessed.

This may be one of the most beautiful blues I own!
Perfect coverage in 2 coats.  I tried out my new HK Girl top coat over it, and now I cant stop looking at my nails.

I also did my Aussie Nails Monday mani, and this weeks theme is dots.  You know how I love my dots!!  ;)

I am quite happy with how it turned out, although I wish the dots were a bit straighter.. lol
If you want to check out some more of A Girl Obsesseds polishes, she has a Facebook page, and also Etsy.  :)

Aussie Nails Monday - Animals

Hey all!
Hope you all had a great weekend!  Mine was spent celebrating, and then recovering from, my 40th birthday.  Ugh 40.. I much preferred when my age had a 3 at the front  lol
My nails today are part of the Aussie Nails Monday challenge.. I only just joined up, and just in time, as the theme is animals and I have always wanted to try a leopard print.  For my first try at this I am more than happy with how they turned out!  Although next time I may use a more contrasting colour for the 'dots'.

For the base colour I used Sinful Colors Cinderella.. not too impressed with this polish, even with 3 coats I still have VNL.  The shimmer is quite pretty though, so maybe I will try layering it.   For the 'dots' I used a dotting tool and Sally Hansens Celeb City.  The for around the dots Sinful Colors Black On Black, which is the only black I use.  I love this, and will definitely be doing it again!
Have you ever tried a leapord print mani?
